  • Do I have to speak Spanish? No. Translators and bilingual staff are available. A teachable spirit and respect for the culture matter more than perfect Spanish.

  • How much does a trip cost, and can I fundraise? Costs vary by season and airfare, but we’ll provide a clear estimate and what’s included (housing, in-country transport, etc.) before you commit. Many volunteers fundraise, and we can share ideas and tools to help.
  • Is there an age requirement? Most volunteers are 18+ or come as part of a group with leaders. If you’re a high school student or looking at a group trip, let us know in your application and we’ll talk through options.
