Nike RBI, an initiative of Major League Baseball, was designed in 1989 to bring baseball and softball back to inner-city communities. Today, it stands as one of the most impactful youth sports programs in the country. Beyond providing equipment and league play, RBI connects players to experienced coaching, academic support, and high-level competition. For many participants, it’s the first step toward college scholarships and exposure to scouts—opportunities that can change the trajectory of a young person’s life and their community.
