This February, in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Month, we’re celebrating the incredible impact of women and girls in sports—especially those breaking barriers and building confidence through baseball and softball. Thanks to the groundwork laid by pioneers and advocates like Toni Stone, the first woman to play professional baseball, and the growth of women’s leagues today, the next generation of female athletes is proving that talent, skill, and determination have no gender.
